| It's sooooooo good. Hard hitting, groovy. How could anyone possibly resist getting off their feet and exuberantly jumping around the room when someone spins this track?!? What sub-genre(s) would you classify it under? Any recommendations for similar tracks? |

| Breakwater was their own group and most fans of soul/disco don't really remember them despite their sound being distinct. Probably the most similar sounding song would be "It's all the way live" by Lakeside or "Chase me" by Con Funk Shun. Con Funk Shun's sound was varied but Lakeside were really hard hitting with drums and synths. The Strikers also did an album worth of material in the early 80's that was hard hitting and blend funk, rock, soul, and a tad of disco. The standouts for the Strikers was "Body music" and "Inch by Inch". |
