| Hey Junge, as one of the "old timers" here, I guess I've done this quite a few times but what the hell I can't recall Jam Jam Jam. Guess I'll have to play a sample to see if I heard it. Otherwise, IMHO your choices are ok but not near the top of my list. My list of 5 off the top of my head are: Lovin' Is Really My Game - Brainstorm He's The Greatest Dancer - Sister Sledge (my personal theme song Dance With You - Carrie Lucas (no disco collection is complete without this one) You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real) - Sylvester (this one moved up my charts Cocomotion - El Coco

| Hey Junge! I wish we just had more people just do fun at random threads like yours. Dazz by Brick is in my top 10. Good times by Chic is also a favorite. The Jimmy Bo Horne and People's Choice track are solid songs. I never really dug "Don't stop the music" by Yarbrough and Peoples. It was always overplayed and I could never deal with those sped-up voices. They do have more traditional sounding soulful disco tunes on their Polydor compilation but they are always overshadowed by that one track. Here's my current favorite list: 1 Unlimited Touch-I hear music in the street 2 Steve Arrington Hall of Fame-Nobody can be you but you 3 Steve Arrington Hall of Fame-Way out 4 Con Funk Shun-Fun 5 Freedom-Get down and Dance 6 Brick-Dazz 7 Donald Byrd-Lansana's Priestess 8 Skipworth and Turner-Thinking of your love 9 Rick James-Glow 10 Sister Sledge-Cirlce of love (May not be on my all time top 10 but is my favorite track by this group. I heard them perform it on Soultrain and sadly it has never made it to Cd. Rhino just issued a double disc Anthology with mostly filler yet this one was not on it |

| On your top list I liked Good Times, Dont Stop The Music, and Dazz. However only Good Times was a favorite. My top 5 oldies would probably be Tears Tears Tears-Black Satin Under The Influence of Love-Love Unlimited Here Comes That Sound-Love DeLuxe Get the Funk Out Of My Face-Parliament & Give Up The Funk-Brothers Johnson played back to back. And a fun little song that packed the dance floor "I Know I'm In Love" Chee Chee & Peppy |
