That was an outtake from the VHS concert film that Rhino released a decade ago. I think it was actually filmed in 75 because the concert features their hits from the third LP, like Get Down Tonight and That's The Way (I Like It). Still waiting for the thing to get released onto DVD!

Hello Guys What a great music clip from K. C. & The Sunshine Band! Wow!! They were soooo down right "funky!" I always considered their music more soulsy/funky than I did disco...And interestingly enough, if you stop and think about it....They were really not around for very long...But what a huge impact they had on music during their rather short life span~They made up for their short stay as time has been so good to them! I remember reading or hearing once that when KC composed ROCK YOUR BABY, he originally intended to actually do the singing himself on the record. KC found it difficult to reach the voice range in his own composition and hired George McCrae to sing the vocals for him! Not confident in his singing ability for "I GET LIFTED," KC also turned that over to George McCrae although he did at least "attempt" to sing "I GET LIFTED"~But it was George's voice that carried "I GET LIFTED" into the Top 40. Take Care... Mario
