That's very interesting. Film soundtracks & disco always seem to have connections; 2 examples that spring to mind are Giorgio Moroder going from disco to movies & Lalo Shiffrin going from movies to disco. I can't believe the interviewer thought that Vivien Vee could be American!

Thanks for posting that I`m a Big fan... Love all the work he did with GOBLIN for Dario argento`s movies in the 70`s/80`s.. I recently got hold of GOBLIN`S score for Argento`s more recent movie SLEEPLESS.. Brilliant !

Check out the "Tenebrae" soundtrack for a massively thumping disco version of the main theme. Well, the real reason I'm posting is to brag a bit now when I get the change, as I met Signor Simonetti in London at a Frightfest some years back, a very nice and jovial kind of guy he was, too.

Absolutely ! I have most of the GOBLIN soundtracks on CD/Vinyl. The Tenabrae CD is superb and I love all the various remixes

The main theme of "Tenebrae/Tenebre (orig. Italian title)" is thumping electronic stuff, sort of in between disco and italo. That's available on cd. As for the rest, not for the dance floors really.
