Default JFP rip-off

I recently heard the 1985 Peter Jacques Band LP 'Dancing In The Street' for the first time & I must admit to not finding it terribly exciting (unlike their first 2 ) but I didn't expect to, as by 1985 most of the big names in the industry had run out of ideas hadn't they? (hello Nile Rodgers & Cerrone! )However, I didn't realise JFP was so lacking ideas by this stage that he tried to pass an identical track (note: not just identical song but the actual track! ) as a different one! 'All right let's go' is no different to my ears to Change's 'Lets Go Together'. Could this be why JFP got done in by the mafia? Were they angered by him trying to pull the wool over the public's eyes?

San, the man was dealt with for some other reasons than just bringing out a lesser album

Cashing in on earlier successes still means biz, still means money and as long as you bring in da big bucks, you're pretty safe!

Here's a good link on the Peter Jacques Band

BTW, say hello to Dave from me!

You'll have to excuse my feeble attempts to be humorous video! Thanx for the link, I love reading anything about JFP projects as he was so enigmatic & the JFP sound was so exciting to my ears. BTW, Dave says hello & sends his love!
