anyway I still think its a guy actually singing !!

And this, I think is the greatest attitude in a drummer I've ever witnessed !!! Besides unabashedly wearing just those skimpy track shorts and a million dollar smile ......
..... I love the way he can barely calm down enough to sit down ... and plays mostly standing up over the drums .

Do you get the impression that here's a guy who went thru life thouroughly enjoying it ... !!!!

I never doubted the sex of the singer in Liquid Gold. But there have been some songs with lead singers that sounded androgynous (not exactly disco-related):





And this one might sound odd, but I swear, for the longest time I didn't know if it was a man or deep voiced woman singing. And when I heard the first name, I wasn't sure if it was Mel or Nell (as in 'Gimme A Break' Nell):

Ellie Hope, the lead singer for Liquid Gold, went on to record a couple solo releases. The biggest on this continent being "Lucky", in 1983. Although still being a Seamel Production, it was Ellie singing... It's the same voice... And she's very much a woman.

I know the facts is the facts .... but I've heard it a certain way --- way too many times BITD and since --- to change the sexes in my head now .......
