| But, Marky, I never liked homework First, do you think all of these artists ever made clips or appeared on da tele?? If not, it will be difficult. Is this our Belgian Salvatore Adamo? And it's the B-side: ![]() Raffaella is in this medley, the 3rd 1 The others, I'll keep an eye on them but I'm afraid some are too rare to appear on YT! |

| Most of them, I don't know either! But here's another great 1 by Lucio Battisti, so you get an idea of his style: "Una Donna Per Amico" |

| About the Raffaella clip: here she sings in Spanish and you can hear the censored Spanish versions. In the first song, "Tanti Auguri", the original chorus said "to make love well you have to come South" ;) However the Spanish version says "to fall in love well..." At the end of this medley Raffaella sings in English and sounds very disco-like (a bit like Karen Cheryl). Unfortunately I don't recognize the track.

I heard this track on Barry's station as well and loved it! I have their 'Export' album from 1976 but this song isn't on it. However, my favourite by them is on it....the song It Always Happens This Way. A couple other goodies are What Would My Mama Say and also APB ("put out an APB...on the man I love"). Oh...this album's in English (case you didn't figure that out!) Here's a link....Toulouse Discography - Read rock music reviews and compare prices at Yahoo! Shopping. |

| IL VELIERO - Lucio Battisti (RCA) Marky did you ever find this one? it is the original version of "il Veliero" later covered by the Chaplin Band and also Lama as "love on the rocks" beautiful song, all versions are excellent, and the Chaplin band 12" has an almost 5 or 6 minute instrumental intrp before the vocals, there are 2 different 12"s of the CB version, the other one adds an extra heavy kick, which to me takes away from the flow of the music.
