| Other cuts off the album like Lovin' Is Really My Game and Taking Love Into My Own Hands are both decent too. And yes, Lovin' Is Really My Game is a Brainstorm cover! |

| Cheers Dave. I will have a scout round for it. Found one on amazon but it was way too expensive. |

Sylvester didn't know what to call his upcoming album and when he found out that the album's number from MEGATONE would be M-1015 ; he called it that. When UNIDISC re-released it on CD ; it didn't make sense anymore so they gave it the first single's name instead. ROCK THE BOX was a bit of a departure from his traditional HiNRG sound ; I remember the critics in RECORD MIRROR didn't quite know what to make of this one.

| It's one of his best albums. It's very uptempo and it' more professionally made that the two previous Megatone lp's. Its name was «M-1015» in Europe and Japan too even if it was distributed by Chrysalis/Cooltempo or Victor and the Megatone US catalogue number doesn't made any sense. I remember when I bought it, my brother and I didn't understand that strange name. «Take me to heaven» is what I would call neo-disco; «Lovin' is really my game» is not very different than the Brainstorm original; the syncopated «How do you like your love» is my favourite. The 12"s were: «Rock the box» (lp vs 5:00, drum box 2:42/dub box 6:40) 12" Megatone MT-130/Cooltempo 601 562 in Europe/COOLX104 in UK «Take me to heaven» (Ian Levine long remix 10:55)/«Sex» (Ian Levine long remix 9:10) 12" Megatone MT-133/Cooltempo 601 726 in Europe/COOLX106 in UK «Loving is really my game» (lp vs 6:40)/«Taking love into my own hands» (long remix 8:30). 12" Megatone MT-134/Musart TI-70997 in Mexico [Another Mexican 12" is: «Taking love into my own hands»/«Sex» with both lp versions (12" Musart 70867)] The album was re-issued by Unidisc in 1992 under the name «Rock the box» and with the US/Japan black picture sleeve (in Europe, the colours were differents). It has all the lp versions and «Rock the box (Purple haze acid house mix)» from 1989 (6:13, originally on 12" Megatone House MH2003). The three original 12" remixes are available on the cd but «Take me to heaven» is cut (8:30 only). «Sex» and «Taking love into my own hands» are in their full-length 12" version.
