| The radio buttons, at least for me, are at the very top of the thread with all the posts below. I picked the year BEFORE I replied yesterday. The page looks the same today. Were you guys logged in before you chose to answer? Maybe that's the reason. Just guessing...     All right, let me come in out of the 'fog'. The buttons are gone --- that's just the damn chart. Yesterday, I swear on my Mother :) , the buttons were there. I chose the year, then there was a link that said "View Poll", I hit that. After I looked at the chart, I posted my reply. Trust me --- I'm not crazy! And I'm not channeling Winona Ryder thinking I'm practicing for a movie role.

I think the best year by far was 1979. And the nice thing was, is that they were also still playing a lot of the music from 1976-1978 with it at the time. I think 1979 might have had more good music produced that year than all the other years listed combined. The sad thing of course, was that there was so much of it, that much of the music didn't get as much air play as it deserved.

My favorite year for disco is 1976 simply because that's the year that "More, More, More" was released.

I picked 1979 only because I bought most of my twelves during that year... so if i were to make a top 100 favorite disco songs.. I believe '79 would appear the most.

Yep, have to say 1979 as it was Donna Summer's best year and the best year for disco music by far. Great tracks were Phyllis Hyman's 'You know how to love me;' Chic's 'Good times;' Earth, Wind & Fire's 'Boogie wonderland;' Shalamar's 'The 2nd time around' and Sister Sledge's 'He's the greatest dancer.' Just to name a few!! Great memories for me as I was into music in a big way then and disco music made me extremely high!!!! What more can I say? I loved 1979's music. Not to mention other genres (which I won't bore you with!)

1977 no doubt about it at all, due to all those loooong tracks that we really could work or bodies to like the Ritchie's African Queens, Trax: Watch out for the boogie man, Giorgio's From here to eternity, Love&Kisses I Found love, Donna's I remember yesterday. We wanted disco and we wanted a lot of it and we got it, in huge pounding marathons that sorted those who could not out of those who could.
