I'd sure waltz to your selection of tunes, Sirius! What is that Rena Mason record like? Is it euro or american?

RENA MASON released 1979 an album called

"Cherchez La Femme"...it has nothing to do

with Dr.Buzzard. She´s a white female singer

-similar like Claudja Barry, although her

voice is not so good. It was producet by

HAROLD FALTERMAIER in Munich. The Song "Do

It"(look for the 12") was remixed by TOM

MOULTON.

Hi Sirius, Nice to read your postings. Back in the late 70's early 80's there was a "Heaven" in Pittsburgh, Pa. It was a great place to dance. It had marble staircases at one end of the dance floor which lead up to a balcony level. It had very high ceilings and a suspended ring of lights & revolving beacons wich would lower down above the crowded dance floor. I think it had been an old bank building converted to disco/dance club. Pittsburgh's version of "Studio 54"

Dear a54t!

What a fantastic time you had! The HEAVEN

in Vienna is based on the HEAVEN in London,

which is still a big and succesful disco.

Originally the London HEAVEN opened at 1979

and was the biggest GayDisco in Great Britain. Then HI-NRG came along and HEAVEN

was even more succesful...remember Bronski

Beat, Divine, Miquel Brown, Dead Or Alive

etc. Even the EURHYTHMICS made a live-concert

there...released on video.

The HEAVEN in Vienna is certainly a little

bit smaller and was created about 1989 for

gays only. It is placed at the U4, a yester-

days famous underground-new-wave-disco and

every thursday there will be HEAVEN...House

Music in the mainroom...and twice a month

DISCO-HEAVEN for all my friends, dreamers

and dancers. The clubroom then is decorated

with 70ies Stuff, like great posters, glam

& glitter and I play Movies, SexyPictures

and Musicclips from that era.

I cannot compare with your description about

Heaven in Pittsburgh...

Also look for the other charts, if you´re

interested like BOOGIE NIGHT or HOT DISCO

NIGHTS.

For pictures from the HEAVEN and other parties at the U4 look at http://www.conny.at
