Hi all,
I'm looking for a "Best Of" CD of The Gibson Brothers, with only the long versions on it.
Any suggestions?
I've looked at Amazon.com, but there are so many, and it doesn't say if they contain the 12" versions.

Hey Skywalker ,

The Canadian Unidisc-label is known for their compilations with extended versions. I think you almost can't go wrong with the one linked below , because from observing and comparing to other samplers this one contains a few more versions which go over 6 minutes. Also the sound-quality of Unidisc is worth buying it :

The only thing right now , is that because the pressing is from 1996 , it's out of print and not available on Amazon at this moment :

Amazon-U.S. | Amazon-U.K.

I just browsed through a number of online-shops but so far could not find a copy for sale.
So it might appear one day on eBay or another selling-site.

Yes you have to be careful as there are many non-original Gibson Bros. CDs.

Well, I got the CD today from Amazon.com!!
It was send with light speed from the US to EU within 10 days after ordering....!!!
"The Best Of The Gibson Brothers-Cuba". HTCD 57-2
Zagora Records, 1995, Distributed by Hot Productions, FL.
Mastered from the original master tapes by TOM MOULTON!!!!!!!!
Some are the long versions, others aren't, anyway I'm very glad with it, and I think The Gibson Brothers are overlooked by many ( including myself....), they deserve better!!!!

OK, I played the CD several times now, it contains the well known hits, like "Non Stop Dance" and "Cuba", but three others songs, that I didn't know/heard before, took my attention: "Ooh, What A Life", a realy good DISCO tune, "Come To America"(!), (remember they are French...!) and "Mariana", those three songs are in my head the whole day......!!
