| ***** Forever identified with SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER ..... Yet years before that ..... in 1974 ... ..... John Travolta was already working with future disco movers & shakers . I doubt the subject of disco ever came up .... still on Travolta's album's credits of that year 1974 ..... there they are ... two about to be significant names in the world of disco .... ... just as he too would become ..... One writing a song (about .....of all things :-P... dancing ) The other producing and arranging one of the album's cuts ..... Who were these two future disco mega names found on John's early album??? :icon_neutral: *****

| I know that John Travolta's 1976 album on Midland was with John Davis and Bob Reno, but since you went even earlier to 1974 then I don't know. Curious to hear who it is.

| ***** Hmmm , Bernie ... it's you who has me curious ......let me check something Ohh .... .... I messed up :(:( I rechecked ....the Midland copyright is 1974 .....the album itself : 1977! But , very good Bernie ! And yes ... you have answered that half of it right.... John Davis arranged ( and co-produced with Bob Reno) one (non-disco) song called WHENEVER I'M AWAY FROM YOU on that 1977 album . *****

| ***** Yep ! Paul Jabara wrote SLOW DANCING ..... and he must have instructed John just how to sing it .... or John copied a tape of Paul singing it. If you close your eyes it's amazingly Paul Jabara sounding . I don't think anyone would upon listening say "That's John Travolta ! " Good ONE Famdam ... two for two :D ***** cased closed
