And I really don't care what second-rated stand-up comedians like NRGbeat or Zef think about it:

Age is not very kind to most of us, me included. In Ms Joli's case her upper arms pointed towards the future.

Yes !!!, France Joli when she was young and beautiful and she was a hot Babe 8-) with all of us fighting to get up-close to get a glimpse of this young and beautiful Diva.

I saw her performing live many times down here in Miami where she must have performed dozens and dozens of times through the years in all kinds of clubs around the city.

She had a huge following and booking her instantly translate into a packed club, She used to travel with her mother, and well into the mid to late 80's she was still belting out "come to me" even when the Disco scene and music was much different by then (Freestyle, House) .

To me "Come to me" was what Disco Music was all about. A classic song.

I saw her perform at The Saint in about 1983 and she was fantastic!

We were dancing under the stars, when the opening bars of 'Come To Me' started to be mixed in. A section of the dome opened and there she was. The crowd went wild!

One of the best nights I've ever had in a disco!

Were any of you guys there?

Absolutely! Although I discovered this track later than the period it was released. It didn't score that big in Belgium. "I'll get over you" was the massive hit here!

Here is the footage from PBS, She probably has some kind of illness of the glands that makes her obese like this, I've known people like this and apparently is almost next to impossible to cure:???: so be gentle with her:icon_neutral:
