In the previous board there was a thread concerning best France Joli LPs. I do not remember which the best was, but now I found some stuff on vinyl about that lady.

Which LP is really worth having?

Darling and lovely Miss Joli's first album "France Joli" is utterly fabulous, and the most essential, especially the Unidisc (Canadian) reissue with bonus versions. (Also the Unidisc CD single with 5 versions of "Come To Me" is great.) Her second album "Tonight" is almost as great. "Now" album is a little uneven but has some excellect songs. "Attitude" is not quite disco anymore, but its song "Blue Eyed Technology" is great early 80s dance pop. "Witch Of Love" album is a lost classic of dance-pop; its songs "Does He Dance" (also a 12") and "Give Me Your Love" are pure ear candy, and its velvety voiced balled "Love Always Finds A Way" always melts my heart away. Also of note is a great Unidisc compilation, "Greatest Hits", with songs from the first 3 albums.

Yes the first album is great. I have that Unidisc single, but tend to stick with the 9 minute orginal version.

Thanks for answering! I got just the 12" "Gonna get over you" and it seems to me wonderful.

I went on allmusic.com to check the list of songs on the first album, but it wasn't.
