Here are most hints for those 2 hits.

1st song: trumpet is nicely used in the intro of this disco song from 1981.

2nd song: this is a known rap song recorded on Jive records 1983.

Why does "Hold on, help is on the way" sound like the Little River Band or some other late '70's or early 80's AM radio soft-rock group??? Was their another song with this title? I'm just askin'????
