Question Is This Disco? DAVID BOWIE

I've let out "Let's Dance", too obvious, but I always felt that some of his 70's stuff was very avant-garde Disco and extremely enjoyable on the dancefloor! No????

Again, good stuff, and they played all of these in the discos! Though they are not 100% disco, they are danceable, therefore they are ACCEPTABLE as disco. Bowie was something else.

Fame sounds like him bandwagoning on the rising 80's pop movement. Some apologists call it evolving.

Fashion sounds like disco to me.

Sound and Vision is borderline, but not really if you truly get the feel of the track. Typical Bowie track if you ask me.

Golden Years has been taken of youtube therefore I can't make a comment on this track.

Seems like the companies are starting to get worried about YouTube :-o Again, that's the reason why I open so many Video-threads coz' some clips are gone very fast!

Here's a very good Live version to compensate the Soul Train clip:

lol, thanks, but in my opinion that track is another typical Bowie style track.

Like you said earlier Let's Dance is another disco or at least disco-influenced record.
