I just received a lp called At The Discotheque. There are two tracks on it that are just tragic 1. Who's on the line by Kim Harlow 2. The Girl from Ipanema by Gilla. Have any members heard of these girls? Kim Harlow sounds like a very very poor version of Madleen Kane, Gila sounds like poor karaoke.

Forget about that Girl from Ipanema - try Astrud Gilberto's own disco version, produced by Vince Montana no less - and seek out Gilla's grand HELP! HELP!. For an extra helping, seque it with the Boney M cover version, and drive your Gentleman Callers insane!

Hi, Gilla's "Bend Me Shape Me" was a great cover version, especially the break in between the verses, it really rocked:D . It was one of my first "disco" tracks bought, only on 7" though. Was there ever a 12"/extended mix of it?
