I was just wondering about this...what's the longest version of Makes You Blind? I only have the short (3:something) version on the Super Rare Disco cd...I read there was a 12"...was it the same short version???

Hi Marky-Yes,Arista put it on the flip of the live version
of"The Bottle" by Gil Scott Heron-and it is the same
time as the single.There is a Disconet version that
stretches it to over 5 minutes that is very well done,though.

I agree about PIR being largely clueless.:-P
But wouldn't you say that those many songs that had a PT. 1 and a PT. 2 were songs with totals of over five minutes just split in two ....

I do give that label in particular credit for providing those longer versions by using this method in the earliest days .
