Default Spanish disco from the 70's?

Try these: "Bang Bang Bang", a fun 1978 track by Victoria Abril, one of the original muses of Pedro Almodovar. Then there's another bona fide disco tune by another Almodovar figure Bibi Andersen, called "Call Me Lady Champagne". This is from 1980 and sounds much like an Amanda Lear tune, and Bibi is a real tranny too. Catch her act in "High Heels/Tacones Lejanos". And there's more to the Pedro connection: Miquel Bose, the male star of "High Heels", who did "Super Superman" and and the rather gorgeously Costandinos-style "Omni Padme Um" in 1978. Pedro himself sung on a hi-nrg track during the grazed la Movida years of the early 80's but that's another subject.

Teen idol Pedro Marin did 2 disco tunes during the late 70's, the excellent "Puente de Colores" and the poppy "Que No". Last year, he bounced back with a full frontal nude spread in a trendy magazine. This summer, he realised an hommage cd to Queen Lear, and performed the tracks live on la Chueca square in Madrid.

Whether Santaren & The Lovin' Girls, called just Santaren on the album, are of Spanish origin I don't know for sure. The lp indicates this but could be otherwise. Bebu Silvetti recorded a limp disco lp with covers of mor standards before hitting with "Spring Rain" and the rest, look for a sleeve depicting a dartboard.

What about the group "Massara" who did the catchy "Margarita" , my 'Movie Play' 12" copy is of Spanish origins (It was also pressed on Ariola Germany) but the entry on the vaults claims it is an European Italo Hit,

Is Massara a Spanish or Italian group??
