| Dynasty.......one of the great underrated bands on the disco scene.........on one of the most underrated labels. How come they and Solar don't get the props they deserve from people? One of life's great mysteries. |

Great label but it may have suffered from samey musical output. But who cares really, as long as samey is as good as this  |

| **** I do admire SOLAR's enthusiasm and aggressive approach at quickly cornering a chunk of the music market by creating their own distinctive and identifiable sound .... the last really great record label operating off the ol' Motown styled in-house, can-do, focused zeal . *****

| It is a great label Quinny with many great artist. I think you're right Quinny, it is under-rated when one considers all the talent there.

I did spin that track to death that summer.... it was towards the end of the summer of 80 and my dancefloor became very well educated to that groove control!!! It was an album cut since it never came out on 12". It would be TOTALLY undanceable today.... ah ah ah

| Giovanni, You are a man of exquisite taste! "Groove Control" was released as a 12 inch here in the UK, same length as LP though.. |

| I thought the whole album was great although my favourite dance track off that album was Do Me Right. Now that I have been reminded of the album I shall have to dig it out (I loved the slower title track Adventure In The Land Of Music too). toto |

| "Here I Am" is my favorite Dynasty song, but overhere "I Don't Wanna be A Freak" was their biggest club hit....!! They performed once in Amsterdam, and although I wasn't there, the concert got a lot of attention in the Dutch Disco scene of that time. Did they ever consider a Solar reunion concert or something? Wouldn't it be great to have Shalamar (with Jody!), Lakeside, Dynasty etc. back on stage one more time? I would come over from Europe for something like that, for sure!!!
