Smile Forgotten Heroes? DIVINE

Bless her/him. She was camp, she was over the top but her music was so much fun. "Native Love", for me, is the ultimate Bobby 'O' production.

Not forgotten and not she, but absolutely he! He was kind and brave person. He lived how he wanted. It doesn’t mind how you’re looking like: “Dressing in woman clothes – that’s no prob! In ancient times in Greece the men, for example, played all women personalities in theatre. Let everyone be whom he wants to be, so “I’m what I’m and no excuses!!!” – only real man can think in such way. Talent artist, one of my most favorite disco and Hi-NRG singers. And he’s absolutely more real man than something any “Swartzenegger-terminator”, I mean.

Two years ago I found by chance his 1984 megamix called “T-shirts & Tight Blue Jeans”. The record was on old magnetic band – according to it’s quality it was the first copy from vinyl. The things from this megamix are having the differences from album’s “Jungle Jezebel” originals. I made it restoration by PC. Now the record is mastered mastered on CD-R, and I’m glad!

Thanks for posting up the links Videoskooter ..I've don't think I ever saw any of them before. Divines appearance singing 'You Think Your a Man' on UK mainstream pop show 'Top Of The Pops' in the 80's was a defining moment for me.

It's made me feel like a boy again !
