great group although I wouldn't classify this under 'Disco'... more 'New Wave' or 'Euro' in the Kraftwerk school of Electro if you ask me...

Another Belgian Disco (part 3??) group is Nacht und Nebel with the legendary Patrick Marina Nebel (vocals, piano, drums) Fil Ijzerdraad (bas) and Albiano Bentano (synths). Didn't Patrick Marina die or commit suicide or something??

The group was never as big as Telex but their music is definitely worthwile to remember...
'Movoco syntaca' especially and 'Beats of love', their biggest hit sofar.

Classify under danceable 'Belgian Wave Disco' before Belgian New Beat

I bought that Nacht und Nebel single back in the day and always liked both tracks. That 100 BPM groove just kept me tuned in for some reason. I'll have to dig this one out later today and give it a spin.

I've always loved 'Moskow Diskow'; I could never get enough of any disco record featuring analogue sequencers.:-P I just don't understand it when people say this was early techno; it doesn't bear any resemblance to modern computer-generated dance music IMO.:???: There will never be a sound created again that's this brilliant. The video's not too exciting though is it? I s'pose it's meant to be a bit ironic? That guy playing a saxophone on a completely synthesised track is quite funny actually.

Cause I heard here the parallels with Kraftwerk from Germany, so let me introduce to You the band from Japan called YMO: Yellow Magic Orchestra. It began to work in the end of 70’s too, like TELEX. Their grooves are more near than Kraftwerk's to Telex.
