 Freddie Gorman R.i.p freddie gorman of the originals passed away on june 13th freddie originally a solo singer who cut a couple of great sides for ric-tic in detroit in the late 60s,few crossed over to motown when berry bought ric-tic but freddie did and became bass singer and lead with the originals who for me were one of motowns greatest acts and sadly very underated,last recorded [as far as i know] in the very early 90s solo and with the originals for ian levines motorcity label, freddie was also a writer at motown writing many hits including Mr Postman for the Marvelettes R.I.P FREDDIE my favourites take me back [ric-tic] and with the originals baby im for real dont stop now good lovin is just a dime away down to love town  |
