Funky Dude, you hit it right on the money.

A lot of people here mention the top 40's of Disco but forget the Disco of the early 70's.

You're knowledge of Disco music is probably the best I've seen on this site. There was a hell of a lot more to Disco, but for whatever reason a lot of people here concentrate on Disco after the mid 70's.

Fausto Papetti
Fantomas,

Fausto Papetti has been a flute artist, he made covers of a lot of hits. I think he released more than 60 LPs all with hit covers, except some tracks by himself. Anyway I think we cannot include Fausto Papetti in the Disco scene.

You wouldn't believe it but I've downloaded a lot of these songs from Audiogalaxy. I swear I love "Party Freaks" by Miami, the best bits are the funky guitar wah wah parts of the song, very very funky.

Anyhow here's some more to mention:

Rozza & Wine - Disco Boogie Woman 1975

Willie Dynamite - Willie Chase 1974

Dynamic Corvettes - Funky Music Is The Thing 1974

Deodato - Skyscrapers 1973

The Blenders LTD - When Ya Git Through With It Put It Back 1972

George McCrae - Nothing But Love 1976
