All three of these volumes appear to have a great selection of 80s music. Is "Say Yeah" on Volume 2 a 10.34 version of the stupendous song by The Limit? Never knew there was a version that long.

When will someone put Serge Ponsar's "Out In The Night" on a CD compilation?

Yes, Say Yeah is a vocal/dub version by The Limit.

Serge Ponsar would be a very good one for a future CD, but I doubt it will ever be released on the format.

Darn, there is a defect on the "Cruisin' The Streets" track by the Boystown Gang. Right after the song ends a bit of another song plays for a fraction of a second. Yuck !

Sloppy production values, BUT WTF does a second right at the end matter?

Whitfield recycled a lot of his earlier productions. Nytro just passed by without me taking any notice BITD, but RR was huge. I've got the Nytro album (Nytro Express/Return To Nytropolis 12:38 ) and I think that version is the best. RR express is also a great track.

Another comment about the sound quality.
I think the tracks that are taken from tape or digital masters are very carefully treated with EQ etc. and sounds great (that goes for the vol. 1 and 2 also)

But WHY does he choose tracks where he couldn't even find decent Vinyl as a master.
Jerry Knight - Overnight Sensation sounds really bad with distortion like from really worn vinyl. (and some static clics that are very irritating)

Very unprofessional...

I've managed to pull out my 12" of Nytro Express and have to say that I have been most disappointed by it. It is so weak in comparison to RR Express. No wonder I'd forgotten all about it.

BTW, I've spoken with Ben Last week and he's following all of your comments on this board.

He's very satisfied with the feedback so keep 'em coming.
