This is a curious version ..... do you know of " Mr." (;)) Danny Pearson and whether Barry did an entire album project with him .....???

Check out the full CD where they make a collage of very bizarre tunes and mix it with Perez Prado and Boney M. This is a trip!

But, you know, when it comes to Barry White, I'm a fun lovin' criminal:

Mixmachine: Yes, Simon Said's "Love song" is a cross between "Can't get enough" and "walking in the Rain" I was looking for the original 7" to see if Barry had anything to do with this one, but no luck, I have it on a CDR , is short only 2:46:???:
Just got this 45 !
YEP! this is Love Unlimited without no limitation !!

Superb Barry White mock-up by ....Meco Monardo

written by Tommy James .... and since it's on Roulette ....I have to assume it's The (Crimson & Clover) Tommy James .

Beautiful tune ..
IF only they'd had Barry drop in and guest toward the end .....keep expecting to hear his voice here anyway .... that would've taken this into the hit zone .....

THANKS for suggesting this one !!!!

swirling strings , Haye's wah wahs ... most interesting

I'm listening to this one as I type, I found my old 7" !!! , wow, I can't believe I had forgotten all about this cut, I used to play and tape this all the time, this song is definetely influenced by Barry's music, even Floyd's vocals are similar. if this is the Salsoul orchestra playing they withheld their trademark sound, is all Barry's style here, the instrumental side is very nice, old school disco style.

There 's a 12" version of this song.

with a longer vocal version(3:12 on the 7") the instrumental is the same as the 7".

I've already posted this on another thread, but here it goes again:

"You Are In Love" by Ralph Macdonald
5:30 minutes of Barry White-ish orchestral bliss, purely instrumental with swirling strings, incessant hi-hats, and a romantic melody... could've also been produced by Cerrone/Costandinos...wouldn't have been out of place in the "Romeo and Juliet" LP...

found on LP "Counterpoint", 1979

anyone else discovered it? I still see the vinyl floating around, and it is out on cd too!
