Remicks:

I didn't realize that you posed a question in one of your threads about Richard Rogers. He had a song in 1990 called "Can't stop loving you" on Sam Records released on an Lp called Can't Stop. This track employed live drums, vibes, both horn and string sections and had a staccato break. It didn't use electronic drums like Lisa Stansfields music and sounded like something from BITD.

Just ran across Henry Mancini's cover of Barry's "Satin Soul" nice but not very danceable.

I also forgot about "Lady Lady Lady" by the Boggieman Orchestra, beatiful strings and acoustic piano. 8)

WINDSTORM

Gloria Jones

51% Barry / 49% Spinners ... just enough to qualify ! :-D

As long as I keep finding them .... I'll keep posting them ....

Now not everyone that attended the school of The Love Unlimited graduated at the top of the class you understand ......

I FEEL LOVE COMING ON
Barry White: writer
Jay and the Techniques 1974

The essence of the school teachings are there .....spruced up with a great deal of bongoing .
Almost sounds like a group of lads vocalizing in a bar setting . You have to want to hear the line " I-I -I feel love comin' on " repeated over and over by these guys to be able to fully get into this one .

Strings and horns arranged by Ron "HAVE MERCY " Kersey 8)

HONEY PLEASE CAN'T YOU SEE
B.White: Writer
Mr. Danny Pearson
Unlimited Gold 1978
produced by Barry White

Wow on Barry's label ....written by Barry ... produced by Barry ......how can this not be Unlimited in its Love ..... ?

Yep ....that's Barry White music alright .....such sweetness .... If you ever wanted to hear a Barry White song true in form .... except that the vocal is done up high like a Stylistic ....here's your chance. ( But reallly ....what's the point of a Barry White song .....minus that low Barry-tone voice ? )

Yes it's definitely one from the upper rungs of his list of hits.
This is a curious version ..... do you know of " Mr." (;)) Danny Pearson and whether Barry did an entire album project with him .....???
