Taka Boom "Red Hot"

Wow, what a galloping little track...the piano, and bass are awesome. The synth and treated vocal are also nifty...too bad we get cooing girls going "red hot" all over the backing. Great guitar work 2 minutes in. And Taka's vocals just...yeah. Has any of her disco stuff ever appeared on disco compilations?

I think my beef this week is with songs featuring "red" & "hot". Just strikes me as really dated, the whole phrase and especially in disco songs...where "heat", "night", "dancing" and "burning" all appeared with alarming banality.

How about demonstrating some self restraint when it comes to posting up new topics?

Well how about posting up a few pictures of yourself from 30 years ago?

Take the music for what it is. 25+ years old.

Take your hipster attitude somewhere else.

Unfortunately you were not on the music scene in 1979 for all of us to experience your flawless production skills.
