Don't tell me you're also one of those people who already has their Christmas shopping about wrapped up !! :P I haven't even taken my Hallowen lights down yet ...

Anyway ...ya that was the classic Christmas disco production ...others tried .... but this is the one . That was a great Christmas and New Year ..... that New Year medley on there got as heavy a play that year too.
"THE LITTLE DRUMMER BOY" worked well .....drums .... disco ...go figure ....
I used to use the "SILENT NIGHT " song as my closer. Still think it is my favorite version of that song. Too bad Salsoul didn't think to take their orchestra into the studio and use that flavor to create an entire non-disco Christmas album. :(
Think they'd have made some bucks over the years off that one ....

I always loved "Christmas Jollies". I also enjoyed the cheesy, fun 12" of "Disco Christmas" by The Universal Robot Band" :D ("...Disco Christmas We're Gonna Hustle 'Round The Tree, Disco Christmas Boogie Down The Chimney You & Me...") :D

@ Videoskooter, you're right, the third cd from the triple box "Ferry Maat Soul Show volume 1" is a Christmas one, but I think he ran a bit out of inspiration, cause it's the worst one from those three, the other two contains fine Disco, and Funk from the Eighties!
Just recently Ferry Maat released volume 2, and that's a great one, all three cd's!

@ Remicks, yes,I cleaned up the haloween stuf some days ago.
We were the only house in our street though, Haloween is typicaly American, nobody is interested in it overhere, shame!
We have something called St.Maarten at November 11, children go from door to door, sing songs and collect candy in return.
Then on December 5 we have Sinterklaas ( looks like Santaclaus..!!), an old guy on a white horse, riding at night on the roofs of our houses, dropping presents in the chimney....
at least that's what the children are told overhere.
When he's gone, it's time for Christmas at last....
But not anywhere near the way you are celebrating it in The USA....!

Yes it's about 20 euro's overhere, that's about 10 US Dollars, for three CD's!
One note: Dayton's Sound Of Music is the Euro 12 inch remix!
Another note: Maze's Joy and Pain is an extended live version!
