OMG, those song lyrics irritate me! Mushmouth Andrea needs some diction lessons. All the Web sites I found with "lyrics" claim that there is a line that goes "Night Trouble Lane's the place to be..." (just after the line "Dancing the night away/Oh what a joy at the Barefoot Boy...). Is there any such place? I always thought it was "The club remains the place to be..."

As for the lines in question, these sites claim it's "Don't cha beware, don't cha beware..." which makes no sense to me.

How about "Don't cha be lame, don't cha be lame/Keep on dancin'..." or "Won't cha be there, won't cha be there/Keep on dancin'..." or "Won't cha bay-beh, won't cha bay-beh/Keep on dancin'..." I could go on, but I've got work to do!

I think the line is "The club remains the place to be".

"Don't you do that, don't you do that, keep on dancing...."?

Just wondering: Why is the song called "N.Y., You Got Me Dancing" when she sings "New York, New York"? Actually, I like "Fill Me Up (Heart To Heart) better, a 10-minute song you can fall in love with! What is your favorite Andrea True Connection song?

I like "Call Me". It's Gregg Diamond's work, and best of all, it's mostly instrumental. :)

I loved that song. I believe the lyrics were "doncha beware" BTW, the Barefoot Boy was a big NY disco that was later known as Styx. Then it's "the club remains, the place to be. At 12 West, the sounds the best, I guess you can come in your jeans, but I still prefer, getting dressed up. But I still prefer gettin' dressed up for Regine's".....................

..... "you can come in your jeans" ......... :o !!!! :o ......... (note to self: don't let singing porn stars write any of the song lyrics )

"NYYGMD" is a fine tune and "WHAT'S YOUR NAME ,WHAT'S YOUR NUMBER" is not bad either.

But no self-respecting TOP 40 disco list would be absent "MORE MORE MORE " . :)
