July 19, 2009 update:

Lest you think I have have been sitting on my ass enjoying the summer heat and eating bon bons ["and no one's gettin' fat, except M-defad"] --I thought I should report that I have now "excavated" the first third of the 1977 Disco charts [January through April, 1977] ....found every title listed and added points for each mention to get a list of everything charted by week. That's done.

Now I have to start putting the systems back in place and get ready to create new charts. This should take another month to get ready. So expect something around Labor Day or maybe earlier--if I really get down on it!

How you can stand that humidity, I will never understand.
I could not live in a climate where I'm dripping wet all day.
You deserve a medal for bravery.

I'll try to make the 1977 charts extra minty cool to give you some relief.

Oh and please find someone to run against that DINO Senator Mary Landrieu--she's gotta go! I'm so sick of these DINO's ruining our chances for health care because they are on the take for insurance and pharma $$$$$$$!

LOL. If I hear of a challenger, Marky, I'll let you know, but she's not up for election for a few more years (Sen. Vitter is up next in 2010). I'd like to see him replaced, and he can sing Gloria Gaynor all he want, but I hope his political career does NOT survive !!!
