If anyone from the board was at the event I'd love to hear your feedback. All's I can say is WOW.

Highlights for me:

The Trammps getting caught up in the fun and getting on Stage to join Fonzi Thornton, Freddie Jackson and Byron Stingley doing "Disco Inferno". Fonzi, Freddie and Byron were doing their tribute and straight out of the audience the Trammps stormed the stage and blew the roof off the place.

Gloria doing "I Will Survive" was fantastic.

Bunny Sigler, Sharon Paige and the Bluenotes doing the Gamble & Huff tribute.

and so many more....

Can't wait to review the video.

John:

What I liked about the Trammps coming out from the stage to join on to their hit "Disco Inferno" as if it was the 12" version at its fullest! "Say Oww"! Bunny "By The Way You Dance" Sigler was exciting and sounded just like he did in the seventies. I can't wait until next year!!!!!

I would loved to have gone to this event as I was actually in NYC that night but I thought that the tickets were $300 ( a tad too pricey pour moi, the porn business isn't what it was! ) & was dismayed to just read that there were 'balcony' tickets for $100! I don't generally like live music but I woulda loved to be there with all those legends in the house. Oh bugger! :( (I actually spent the evening at 2 very divey & (it has to be said) very dull bars on the Upper West Side - never again! :-? )

Could have gotten anyone from this board in at a special price on the floor ($190) as we respect the community you guys have built here. Next year be sure to get in early and ask me about the discount. ;)

For those that missed the event but wanted to checkout some of the pictures, here's a couple of links:
