Default Another Trocadero Transfer party on Oct. 9, 2005!

How about plenty of advance notice this time? I'm happy to announce the fourth Trocadero Transfer tribute party. This one is set for Sunday, October 9th, 2005, with Jerry Bonham spinning an encore performance! :D

The party is called "Remember the Troc Party" (Halloween comes a little early this year). As in the past parties, the music will be from the mid 70s to the early 80s. You might notice that Columbus Day is on Monday following the party - so some of you may have a 3 day weekend! :D

Also, in case you don't already know, Jerry's 7 CD soundtrack to the "Soul Recharge" party is now available in a limited quantity (sorry for sounding so much like a commercial but I don't want anyone who is interested to miss out). Details (including the complete Playlist) are on the RtP website:

www.remembertheparty.com

Hope to meet more of you at this event!

The suggestively risque poster for "Remember the Troc Party," as well as additional details for the dance and tickets, are now on their website. :D

"Remember the Black Party - A Disco Fantasy & Trocadero Tradition"

What were black parties like at the Trocadero back in the day?

For those of you that missed the last Troc reunion (Soul Recharge), there's a 2 minute video clip on the Remember the Party website.

We shot this footage from the DJ booth. So, you get to hear DJ Jerry Bonham's very pleased reaction as the crowd started cheering to his reedit of Abba's "Lay All Your Love On Me." :D

Don't the mirror balls look great?

As I commented in a separate post, the event on Sunday, October 9th, is now called 'Remember' the Troc Party. However, the theme continues to be the spirit and atmosphere of the pre-Halloween parties at Trocadero in the 70s and 80s! :D
