My Music: Get Down Tonight - The Best of 70s Disco and Dance Music

Attend a live taping Tuesday, August 17 at 7:00 pm at Convention Hall in historic Asbury Park, NJ

DISCO brings back memories of Donna Summer, The Village People, Gloria Gaynor, the Bee Gees, Halston dresses and shiny shirts, platform shoes, parties and sequins, and of course the Disco Ball.
If you loved the music and lifestyle of the Disco era and would love an opportunity to reminisce even more, then come be part of a live audience at the taping of MY MUSIC: GET DOWN TONIGHT - The Best of 70s Disco and Dance Music. This NJN Member event will take place in Asbury Park's Convention Hall on August 17, 2004 at 7:00 pm.

• Carol Douglas - Doctors Orders
• Peaches and Herb - Shake Your Groove Thing, Reunited
• Norma Jean Wright & Lucy Martin - Le Freak, Good Times
• Martha Wash of The Weather Girls - It’s Raining Men
• Anita Ward - Ring My Bell
• Bonnie Pointer - Heaven Must Have Sent You
• The Hues Corporation - Rock the Boat
• Irene Cara - Flashdance, What a Feeling, Fame

Impressive list... Now, one hundred dollars a seat sounds very high to my ears. But I don't live in the USA, of course. What do you US residents think?

I just saw Martha Wash at a benefit in San Francisco, and we got to hang out after the show. She's tons-o'-fun!

This event is a benefit for New Jersey Public Television and Radio. :)

Too bad it wasn't on a weekend would have driven down for this one.:cry:$100.00 a seat for that lineup is a bargain! :)
