 Valentine's DISCO night tonight @ Sous Sol! 25 Bank Place Melbourne Australia Music: Bryan Bergman (needletothegroove.net) Anyone up for... a: experiencing (or remembering) REAL disco tracks (not your average commercial radio disco but the real deal that serious clubbers of the day danced to)... =or= b: discovering where most of todays classic house tracks take their inspiration from... =or= c: enjoying a night of "spot that sample" madness... ...should genuinely pay a visit tonight, Feb 14th 2004 to Sous Sol, 25 Bank Place, Melbourne. (prev The Kitchen). If you've genuinely wondered (or remember!) what tunes were dropped by legends the likes of Jim Burgess, John Ceglia, David Mancuso, Nicky Siano or Larry Levan (to name but 5) during the 70's & early/mid 80's, then from 10pm tonight they'll be on the decks. (the records, that is...) This is not your average disco funk night. You won't enjoy it if you're hoping to hear worn out overplayed commercial stuff... come on down, this is the real deal! Cheers!
