NuNorthern Soul on Friday November 24th will be something else with possibly the best new soul voice in Britain coming to 235Live.

Alice Russell is the down-to-earth diva who melts hearts and moves feet. Famous for providing vocals for Quantic she has a rare soul voice that commands attention, sounding as if she hails from the deep south of the States rather than the north of England. On stage with her will be TM Juke, super producer from the Tru Thoughts label who will be fusing live sounds with DJing for what promises to be a special show.

Support comes from NuNorthern Soul’s own Phat Phil Cooper who brings a lifetime in music to the decks. Eclectic doesn’t cover the man’s tastes; expect the unexpected.
