plenty of copies of the orig. white horse by laid back are available all over the place........but I can't seem to get my hands on the 12" remix done in '89

Funny, I can't even remember a 89 remix of white horse. I would almost swear that i've never seen it any danish shops..and since laid Back hail from Denmark it seems even more odd??!!

However there's a so called "90s mix" of White Horse floatin' around the various p2p networks. it clocks at 5:23 and might be the one you're looking for.

I had it for sale in the record store but I never did pick up a copy.....can not remember the label but I can still see it
it was black with pink hi lites and the writing and white horse pictured in the center were in "white" of course

the white lettering across the top said '89 remix and the label its self said it was pressed in '89

it is out there

I've heard the 90's mix you are talking about but it's just not as good..........in my opinion

i think you are looking for the rerelease on Creole records, which btw released whhite horse in the uk back in 83

As a dane i can tell you that this track never made any impact here and i hardly think it was released in the remix version from the bside of the US sunshine reggae in our own country.

89 remix...........yes!..........it is the one I've been looking for.............and it's not a rerelease.......they put the 89 remix on one side and the origional mix on the other..............I purchased many copies of it in 89 for my record store and sold every one I brought in.........including the one I should have kept for myself!.........my cost on imports at the time was about 5.75..........a far cry from my todays purchase price of 20.00 plus shipping

as for impact...............different songs have different impacts everywhere..........you can ask Bernie as he and I did some Disco tests years ago..............most of what I sent him he knew.........but there were several tracks that he liked very much but never heard as I live on the west coast of the usa and he on the east ................different impact............
