Default Honda Civic (4th generation) '87-'92

OK, I'm going to talk about a humble everday car as a change from all those flashy sporty motors! Personally I think that this is the best hatchback ever made - good-looking, reliable, 16 valves, independent suspension all-round - way ahead of it's time & the subsequent Civics have been such a let-down. I've owned a couple in the past & I miss 'em so I recently bought one in really good condition as I felt very nostalgic.

Also, I just love love love the CRX version too - had a few of them in the past too. I so regret selling 'em.

I always liked that CRX! And I think Honda is a very reliable car. A few hours ago I parked my (flashy sporty) motor next to a Civic new generation.

Very futuristic looking but I'm afraid that Europeans in general are not charmed by Japanese design. I mean, why don't I see more Lexus cars in the streets. Same price range as BMW, Merc and Audi but they don't seem to be loved.

A few months ago I almost bought a Lexus LS as my second car (for daily use) but I went for the VW Phaeton. Knowing very well that Lexus is as good as the Volkswagen. Before that I had a Citroën C6. But until this day, I have never bought a Japanese car. Why? They loose their value very quickly!
