| I hope it's successfull in the marketplace 'cause Chevy's sedans suck donkey dick. I love my Eldorado but that's a Cadillac. Hey, whaddyou guys think: I'm lookin' for either a C3, C4 Corvette or a V-12 Jaguar XJS Coupe ( had one and luved it). What should it be? |

| Johan, are the Jags still unreliable. I promised myself a Jag in the future but...

| Paul, modern Jags are excellent but Discoman is referring to the 70's sportscar: ![]() |

| I never had a problem with mine. Ran good, never broke down. But that V-12 is a complex engine to work on (2 of everything for example) and maintenance is time consuming and you must be methodical in your approach. I kept up with the maintenance...If you don't maintain a V-12 XJS it will get real expensive (bank account emptying) real fast. I am an excellent wrench and looked after the car weekly myself with 3 -4 weekends a year dedicated to maintenence. Now...a 4L 6 cylinder XJS is also a great car - not as maintenance extensive or expensive to run as a 12 but there is just something missing when compared to the V-12. |

| Discoman, I gave up working on cars 10 years ago. They just got complicated and unless you're a contortionist, extremely difficult to get at some things. I hear ya about getting a V6 Jag. For me what's the point. A V8 for those types of vehicle is a minimum. Less than that I might as well get a Honda or Toyota.

| Paul, the 6 banger Jaguar is a twin cam in-line 6 putting out about 250HP. Check one out - I think you'll really like it. The twin cam V8 XK8 is sweet wheels. Beware of the earlier models that still have their original nikasil engines... Try a V12 XJS when the time comes. |

| The Camaro is a KILLER!!! I certainly hope they don't mellow it down. The Charger looks good too, but I'm a sucker for square headlights, and I think it would look far more aggressive if the round ones were replaced... Since Jaguar was bought out by Ford, reliability ceased to be a problem. |
