it sounds something like a blend between
The Temptations and SLy and the Family Stone

In the Early 90's Uptown Recording artist made a cover on this song, which he then made into a uptempo RnB song. With rap in the verse's and soulful singing in the chorous.

I never knew the O'Jays sang "Now That We Found Love"; I knew only the versions by Third World and Heavy D.
