Ok, maybe or maybe not so similar. I recall hearing this song in the early 80s (which may or may not actually make it from that period). Anyway, the song is in the key of C# minor I believe. I wish I could make an mp3, but I don't have that capability. Therefore, I'll describe it the best I can. The main chord being played is the C#m7 for about 4 measures, and then it does a chord progression going up like so: F#m7 -- G#m7 -- A -- B -- C#m. A synthesized keyboard is playing these chords I think. While this progression goes up, a melody (could be synthesized vocals) runs down, creating a counterpoint of sorts. Here are the notes going down: G# -- F# -- E -- D# -- C#. A set violins (or synthesized violin sound) are playing notes in this order: C#-B-C# down to G# then C#-B-C# up to next octave G#. A chorus of falsettoed voices may be saying words during all this. The rhythm of their syllables goes like this: baaah--bah-bah baaah--bah-bah bah--bah-b-baaah--bah-bah (repeat, then) bah----bah----bah----bah. I know this is not much to go on, but you all seem to know your songs, even the most obscure ones. The only other information would be that it has a peppy tempo but not that fast, it has a lot of synthesized sounds w/violins. I believe it is mostly instrumental. I hope somebody can finally give me relief from the frustration I've had for many, many years. It's definitely nagging me. Thanks! Michael baa

Hi Michael, I'll be honest and say that all your 'G#s' and 'm7s' aren't helping me cause I can't hear them in my head. Anyway, these two songs always reminded me of "Love In C Minor". Maybe you can find them online and take a listen. TOUCH ME, TAKE ME by BLACK LIGHT ORCHESTRA LOVE IS by SOUTHERN EXPOSURE Good luck.

Yeah, I'm sorry I couldn't give you more. It's been about 23 years since I heard the tune, and I'm bummed that the longer it takes to find it again the more I'll forget the details of the music. Uggh. Anyway, thank you for replying, and I hope that this forum will be helpful. Michael
