Default GIMME A BREAK!

GREAT TUNE FROM THE LATE 70'S EARLY 80'S. "GIVE ME A BREAK! GIVE ME A BREAK! DANCE, DANCE, DANCE 'TILL THERE'S NO MORE CHANCE" DOES ANYBODY KNOW THE ARTIST, TITLE, OR ANY OTHER RELATED INFO?

THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THE SUGGESTIONS!

I HEARD BOTH, THE RITCHIE FAMILY AND VIVIEN VEE SAMPLES. STILL NOT THE ONE. IF I REMEMBER OK IS MORE LIKE MALE VOCALS, BUT IT'S BEEN ALMOST 25 YEARS! THE SONG USE TO BE VERY POPULAR IN THE SATURDAY NIGHT RADIO MIX, AND DISCO CLUBS. IT'S BEEN GOING ROUND AND ROUND MY HEAD LATELY, BUT NO CLUE.

THANKS AGAIN!

If the tune you are referring to has an italo sound to it maybe :

Vivien Vee - Give me a break ?

Don't have the record at hand now so it's a guess.

If you can't understand 90 percent of the lyrics, it might well be Miss Vivan Vee. :P Vivian, who's Italian, was singing in English pho-net-ic-al-ly ap-par-ent-ly.

She does sing, "Everybody dance and enjoy yourself"...so maybe she's your gal.

But your lyrics are not an exact match.
