Life Goes On...Who knows this version and real title?

There's a song I thought was titled "Life Goes On" and also thought it was by the Ritchie Family but I cannot find it anywhere. I know the lyrics and they go like this (or very close to):

"It ain't easy
to keep smiling when love is gone,
pick up the pieces and move on
it ain't easy to do..."

(second verse reflects similar sentiment)

chorus:

"But in the meantime life goes on
the world keeps turning,
every day another fool is learning..."

It features light and breezy vocals and orchestration and very hustle-able beat, but It's not the Ritchie Family, or Ecstasy, Passion and Pain, or the Hues Corporation. I've searched them all and gone through the whole top 500 list and I'm stumped. I hope another disco lover out there can help me!
