Newish sounding dance club track with female vocalist which heavily samples the string arrangements from Dan Hartman's "Relight My Fire".

Not Ricky Martin's remake.

I was thinking of Fafa Monteco pres. Cockatoo Club "Girls from San Remo", which samples, loops & filters the strings from Hartmann's "Relight", but there's no diva singing over it. Maybe it's a remix ? You can find Monteco on Soulseek without too much problems (type Monteco instead of Cockatoo, you'll have much more results). Maybe that's the one.

Great guess, but as you mentioned, it isn't quite the one.

More clues:

The female vocalist sings lyrics which are different than the original "Relight My Fire", but the song samples the lush string arrangements from the original Dan Hartman & Loleatta Holloway version of "Relight My Fire" from 1979.

The BPM does not seem to be speeded up as much as was the case on "Girls from San Remo".

The strings sound as lush and pristine as they did in the original 1979 version.
