There was a track from around '82 by The Queen Samantha called 'Close Your Eyes'. I don't remember how it sounds, but this may be the one.

02tranzam,
I don't think it's on CD (there seems to be just two titles available). I just remember the song being in the lower reaches of the disco chart at the time. I know I have heard it (at least) once and that it was a more like a hi-nrg tune - but this occason was the one and only time I've ever seen the 12".

If the tune you're thinking of is in a hi-nrg vein, then it's probably the one.

"Close Your Eyes" by Queen Samantha is an awesome song and could be considered quasi NRG. It was released on the Megatone label in 1983 as MT-109. Produced by Charles Ibgui for Atoll Music. I've never seen this on CD even on Megatone's own comipilation CDs from the 1990s. GEMM does have several copies of the vinyl 12" available.

Thanks 02tranzam. :)

I thought it must be that fantastic station.

Does anyone know if it is possible to listen to KTU's Sunday night show over the internet, or must one be within over-the-air broadcast range of New York?

Hi Discovery,

WKTU's phone # is listed as 201-420-3700. Their website, www.wktu.com, seems to be gone.
