Lalo did some music for the "Planet of the Apes" TV series back in 1974. Maybe it's from there. The title certainly fits... There's some info on the Internet Movie Database (www.imdb.com).

BTW, I hate to be repetitious but... Lalo Schifrin is from Argentina! 8) He used to play jazz in Buenos Aires in the late fifties/first sixties. Then he went to Hollywood.

Just found this old thread about the great composer, Lalo Schifrin. Very big fan of his 70`s film and TV work (Starsky & Hutch, Mission impossible, Enter the Dragon, Planet of the Apes etc..)
A fine composer and his musical style is very Jazz/funk orientated. His disco version of JAWS is superb stuff. He released a great album in `76 called BLACK WIDOW - Worth checking out!

You sure it is "Esape..." and not "Ticket To Tomorrow"
Because then we would have a match with his Turbulence LP. A film score-like Eurodisco outfit. salut, Charles
