Menergy without Sylvester

I guess someone out there can help me identify the version of Patrick Cowleys "Menergy" without Sylvester, but with one or two girls on the lead vocal instead.

That's the original 1981 "Menergy" by Patrick Cowley with 2 girl singers , Jo-Carol Block and Lauren Carter (Jo-Lo, as they were later billed).

Sylvester covered it later, I guess. I see it is on one of his hits compilations.

Is that the version in "The vault" - Fusion FPSF 003?

Yep, I think so. It was on Fusion Records and then on Megatone, also. Same version as I recall.

Oh, Jo-Lo, one of my all-time favourites with their hit "Soul".

I've been investigating this a little, and I believe that Menergy featured 3 singers, not 2. Carol McMackin is the girl missing.
