looking for pop/rock song...male singer " crazy dr feelgood and i got the { fever ? } .." from about 1975.
it is not aretha franklin
it is not motley crue
it may be "Dr feelgood" by "Dr feelgood " but have not been able to find a clip of it....it stuck in my memory as being Alan Parsons...but cant find that track listed on that groups discs....i may have wrong title... any ideas????

I think you're looking for "The System Of Doctor Tarr And Professor Feather" by Alan Parsons Project, from their 1975 debut "Tales Of Mystery And Imagination".

Note that the CD version of this album is remixed (and rather poorly, IMO). The original version only exists on vinyl and the out-of-print Mobile Fidelity CD.

actually, i hv the vinyl of "tales..." so just pulled it out and gave that a listen....no, it isn't it. i think song maybe "dr feelgood" by group dr feelgood ....because they recorded on stiff records at that time, and the song i am thinking of has a nick lowe / dave edmunds "pop" kinda feel to it....anyone know this ???
