Default Space Invaders to Space Command

I was a freshman in college in 1983 when I heard an electro-funk tune that I have not heard since. I have been struggling for some time now trying to identify the name of the song and producing artist. It's a jam dealing with a space battle between Pac Man and the Space Invaders. In the song, the two switch back and forth soliciting direction from their respective "Space Commands." To no avail, I've sampled many tunes titled Pac Man as well as Space Invaders. As I remember, the main lyrics go something like:

Space Invaders to Space Command, Pac Man One Might Get Away
Switch into Light Speed and Ignite Ultra Ray
Pac Man to Pac Control Approaching Space Invaders
This is Pac Control Rock Them Out with Your Phasors
Red Alert....Red Alert

If anyone can help me identify the name of this song and the artist I would be most appreciative

I think I have this on tape somewhere. I'll have to have another listen to be sure.

I think it was by someone called

Began Cekic

and the song could possibly have been called Computer Games but I'm not 100% sure on this.

I'm also not shure, but I know there was a song called "space invaders" by "player[1]" in the late 70s.

I think Spacer is referring to "Space Invaders" by Playback. I listened to it yesterday... not the one you're looking for. The lyrics are totally different.

Default Found Space Invaders to Space Command

Thanks for all the replies. Freddy_Fresh advises the song I've been searching for is called Computer Wars (1982). It was by Began Began on One Way Records. Delboy, you were right on target. Thanks.

Player one and Playback are the same track "Space invaders", just different record companies, one is from australia if my memory is correct.
