| 02tranzam: It was issued on Streetwise (SWRL 2204) in the States in Sept 82, a couple of months on from 'Walking On Sunshine'. 'Sunshine, Partytime (Rap)' was on one side, with 'Dubbing On Sunshine' on the other. It was never issued here in the UK. The version you're talking about is not on Vol 1 of '98.7 Kiss FM Mastermixes', but Vol 2. Volume 1 included tracks from 1981 and came into the UK in June 82, with Volume 2 following in August 83. Do you know if they have ever been released on CD in the US? On a personal level these albums were hugely influential, inspiring me to experiment further with editing. Unfortunately I had Volume 2 stolen, and only seem to have half of the first Volume. I'd love to hear all these versions once again. Can anybody help? |
